Areas of expertise
I was born in 1980 in Marseille, France. I did my PhD in Neuroscience with Igor Medina, INMED – INSERM U29, Marseille, where I studied the role of molecular complexes associated with NMDA receptors in synaptic plasticity. From 11/2007 to 04/2010, I did a first post-doc in the team of Alexei Semyanov, RIKEN BSI, Saitama, Japan. My research subjects were ‘Functional role of cell compartment specific activation of extrasynaptic NMDA receptors’ and ‘Using second harmonic generation technique for voltage imaging’. I then did a second post-doc in Marseille (04/2010 - 02/2016), France, in the team of Dominique Debanne (INSERM UMR 1072). Subjects were ‘Analog-Digital facilitation of the synaptic transmission’ and ‘Regulation of neuronal intrinsic plasticity’. I am now a Marie- Skłodowska-Curie Fellow in London, UK, in the team of Dmitri Rusakov (UCL, ION). My research subjects are ‘Astrocyte-dependent Analog-Digital Modulation of the synaptic transmission’.
